Event Details
Established in 1936 as North Carolina’s first art museum, The Mint Museum is a leading, innovative cultural institution and museum of international art and design.
In its two Charlotte locations, The Mint boasts permanent collections of contemporary art, craft and design, decorative arts, ceramics, and more, along with exciting exhibitions on view throughout the year. The Mint Museum is one of North Carolina’s premier art museums and is routinely voted as Charlotte’s Best Gallery and Art Museum by the city’s most well-respected publications (The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Magazine, Queen City Nerve).
Throughout the Charlotte International Arts Festival, the Mint Museum invites guests to participate in special series such as Yoga in the Park, a one-hour yoga class with Dancing Lotus Yoga, and Party in the Park, a free festive afternoon with food trucks, live music, and a cash bar on the front terrace.

Potters Market at the Mint

A one-day sale featuring North Carolina potters on the lawn of Mint Museum Randolph. Don’t miss what many consider to be the most important ceramics event in the state! Whether you are an experienced collector or new to the art form, whether you are interested in functional ware, abstract sculptures, or decorative pieces, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Eventgoers can also chat with two area artists who will use the art of Robert Ebendorf as a launching point to explore themes of upcycling in artist demonstrations and visit the exhibition Objects of Affection: Jewelry by Robert Ebendorf from the Porter-Price Collection.
