June Ni is a self-taught artist who blends her Asian cultural heritage with the natural beauty of the Carolinas in her work.
Born and raised in China, she moved to the United States in 1993. In 2021, after working in IT for many years, June decided to pursue her passion for art full time.
June creates her art using digital painting tools such as the iPad, Apple Pencil, and Procreate. Her work blends abstract landscapes with elements of Asian culture, such as Kintsugi philosophy, resulting in a unique fusion of cultural and natural influences. This combination of elements reflects her personal growth, cultural background, and the place she currently resides.
