GottaSwing Charlotte

GottaSwing Charlotte is excited to bring an evening of swing dance for all to enjoy. Watch some of our professional dancers perform at 6:30pm, and join us for an "Introduction to Swing Dancing" lesson from 7pm until 8pm. No dance experience or dedicated dance partner required, just an interest in having a good time. Gottaswing Charlotte is proud to present a live swing band, the Patt & Sara Quintet, who will be performing from 8pm-10pm. We will also have a presentation at 9 pm by Levine Museum of the New South Historian Emeritus Tom Hanchett about a swing musician who got his start right here in Charlotte.

GottaSwing Charlotte has been Charlotte's home for Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, and other Swing-Era Dances since 2007. We offer group and private instruction in the swing dances of the 1930s and 1940s, including Lindy Hop, Charleston, East Coast Swing, and Balboa. We pride ourselves on fostering a fun environment where everyone is welcome. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or have never been on the hardwood before, we have something for you.
