G & That Jazz

Born in Puerto Rico, Guillermo “G” Villar plays guitar and sings jazz and Latin-influenced music around the Charlotte area as G & That Jazz—both as a solo act and with friends. Often accompanying G are Evan Katzke (piano), Scott McLaughlin (percussion), and other friends from the Charlotte music scene. G studied music at Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles, CA and jazz at the University of North Texas.
