
Emily Sage Avery is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative practice is rooted in sound, spanning songwriting, music production, soundscapes, and interactive sound art installations. Guided by a desire for innovation, connectivity, and presence, her work invites audiences to engage intellectually, emotionally, and physically. She has presented projects such as Sounds of Serenity Garden at Charlotte Shout 2023, an installation blending natural city sounds with cinematic composition, and designed the interactive soundscape for Pilgrimage by CIAF Fellow Laurie Smithwick. In 2024, she created Let Your Heart Be Light, a touch-triggered painting combining art, music, and technology through experimental MIDI programming, exemplifying her unique ability to merge technical craft with sensory experience.
