The Carolinas Latin Dance Company

The Carolinas Latin Dance Company (CLDC) was founded in 2001. Our mission is to promote cultural understanding and acceptance through the performance of folkloric dances from South America, Central America and Spain. 

CLDC teaches children 6 years and up to dance folkloric dances to end the season with a stunning annual theater performance in the Spring.

The Carolinas Latin Dance Company not only teaches children to dance but also to become aware of and accept cultural differences. They also learn to become more confident, the importance of teamwork. their responsibility towards the rest of the team and towards the community, among many other benefits.
